Veiss Innovation with input from University Architecture and Design students developed a tool for professionals and serious hobbyists

Huntersville, NC, November 30, 2021 -

Veiss Innovation LLC launched a new Kickstarter campaign for a precision knife on November 30, 2021.

The patent-pending knife, called the STIK, was designed in the United States by a team of engineering, design and marketing professionals with over 80 combined years of experience developing successful consumer products.

"Current precision knives are cheaply built, low quality, and frustrating to use" said co-founder Jim Smith. "We are frequent users of precision knives for our occupations as Industrial Designers and Engineers and are personally aware of the pitfalls of knives in the market".

Patent-pending features that make the STIK knife unique include a secure blade locking mechanism that holds a #11 blade in place, a locking safety cap and a storage area in the handle for quick access. These enhancements are aimed to provide superior usability, performance and a higher degree of safety over precision knives currently available.

• Built-in storage for up to five extra blades

• A cavity in the knife where blades could be stored

• Multiplanar motion mechanism that clamps, hooks, and locks

• Secure blade retention that holds more than 100 lbs

Veiss Innovation is looking to raise $75,000 by January 4 2022.  Perks include a discounted price of $30 for a STIK Knife including 5 replacement blades with delivery worldwide.
